The Flaherty place is finished

August 1, 2015
We have just completed a short inspection of our new house in Kansas.  The original was built in 1891.  The stone walls have been tuck pointed and the interior has been finished beautifully.

We could not be more pleased with the work done on the house.  Tomorrow, we'll move the beds, linens and bath towels in.
The house is all electric and air conditioned/heated centrally.  The thick stone wall, all from local limestone hold the heat and keep the place cooler in summer.  Shutters are next for when we are not in residence.
